REWARD AND RECOGNITION

To School and Staff:

-Varthana and Gray Matters honoured the school as Silver School in 2017-18 for participating meritoriously in ‘School Transformation Programme’. The rating had arrived through a holistic data-based approach that evaluates student learning outcome, parent’s satisfaction, teaching quality, school management practices, and infrastructure in the school.

Gray matters India (GMI) is a social enterprise that aspires to transform the quality of school education through data driven school assessment and evidence-based analytics. Over 3-year, Gray Matters team has worked across 14 States and has so far assessed: 200 schools, 5 lac students, 15000 parents, and 10000 teachers.

Looking at the overall performance, they had donated the sumptuous cash award to the school, which was really an honour for B S Carmel Public School, Hennagara- Bangalore.

The best Principal Award was for academic support was bestowed to Sh. Jyothi Gowda K S in 2018-19 by Nation’s No. 1 India Talent Group. His leadership, inspiration, to students, and excellent academic achievements were taken into consideration. The school really feels proud of him.

The Indian Talent Group called the school ‘A Golden School’ at the National Level during the session 2017-18 and 2018-19 for its smooth functioning.

Ms. Manjula of this school qualified the prestigious CBSE Exam for the teachers called Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in July 2019 and set the seal of her success.

She also qualified the ‘Teaching Professional Olympiad’ in 2019. It was conducted by the Reliance Foundation, Oxford University, and Varkey Foundation. She had appeared and qualified the test in English, Maths and EVS together at the Primary level.

Ms. Kanthavijay got the best teacher award by JANA SIRI THANDA on Teacher’s Day Celebrations. During the session 2021-22.

Ms Komala H L got the best teacher award from Janasiri Thanda during the session 2021-22 on the occasion of Teacher’s Day Celebrations.

Ms Bindu got 2nd prize in Brain O’ Thon at the State Level.

Master Prakash Kumar bagged 2nd prize in shot put at the National Level.
